Christmas cards - a few more ideas...

Bundled Buddies on Barn Red card stock

Topiary card stock, the background paper is actually from Mayberry paper pack (not normal Christmas paper but it works)

Juniper card stock, background paper from old paper pack (Veranda).  I ran the stocking thru a cuttlebug folder then distressed with Creme Brulee with a little Stardust Glitz on top.

Traditional stocking in a non-traditional color - Smokey Plum.

Art Philosophy tree cut from Sweet Leaf paper then stamped in Topiary with background paper from Believe paper pack.

Wish I knew how to rotate this picture.... Outdoor denim card stock run thru cuttlebug folder then sanded then Stardust Glitz run over embossing.  Sleigh is stamped in Outdoor Denim.

Cards Made with November SOM - Cherish the Day

I finally got around to making cards with the November Stamp of the Month.  I started with the Sonoma paper pack.  I used the Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel to make the printed paper really stand out - unfortunately, the glitter doesn't really show in the picture.  The November SOM was stamped on Kraft paper with Smokey Plum ink.  The heart started as white which I inked lightly with Bamboo ink then I edged the heart with purple.
I have a couple other ideas on how to use this stamp set and since it has a stamp for every month, that will be my excuse for posting them later... lol

Christmas Cards using October SOM - Holiday Magic

I haven't been able to get the blog to do all the things I had hoped so I'm giving in and posting my Christmas cards... someday I will get the other pieces figured out.... wish me luck....

Sleigh from October SOM

The card is Outdoor Denim.  The background is from the Believe paper pack.  The trees in the background are stamped in Topiary.  The 'snow' is white card stock that I ripped to look like snow.  And the sleigh is stamped in Cranberry.

Stockings from October SOM

Card stock is Topiary from Believe paper pack - embossed with a cuttlebug folder then sanded.
The Topiary is from the Believe paper pack.  The background stripes are also from the Believe paper pack.  The oval is embossed with a cuttlebug folder.

Tree from Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge

The tree was cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge from Sweat Leaf paper then stamped in Topiary with the Seasons stamp set that comes with the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I added Liquid Applique to all of the dots - heated with the heat gun.

Christmas Card Idea

Using the October Stamp of the Month I stamped the sleigh in Tulip and the runner in Cocoa on Colonial White paper and cut it out. I stamped the holly leaf in Olive once and then did a second generation stamp and then again with fresh ink and cut those out. I glued the pieces onto a piece of Desert Sand paper. I used Liquid Applique to give a snowy look under the runner. I swirled it around and then dried it with a heat gun. Once it was dry I added some Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel to the snow and on the holly. I outlined the Desert Sand with Chocolate ink and put the whole thing on an Olive base. "Greetings" is stamped in Tulip.
